CAROLINE WRIGHT PERFORMANCE ARTIST, IN CONVERSATION WITH CHERYL PIERCE, ARTSADMIN PRODUCER, TOYNBEE STUDIOS, LONDON

The Queen of Hungary is proud to present a unique opportunity to hear the artist and the producer behind OUT OF WATER talk about this major new Live Art commission that is part of London 2012 Festival.

OUT OF WATER is created in collaboration with Helen Paris of Curious and features a newly commissioned sound-score by acclaimed composer Jocelyn Pook. Stories of endeavour, of swimming, of sinking, interweave with haunting music, lifeguard drills, calls for help and struggles for breath.
The performances take place on Holkham Beach on the 25, 26 and 27 August at 7:30am.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS : Based at Wysing Arts Centre near Cambridge, Caroline Wright is an Arts Council England Escalator visual and live art selected artist. A recipient of an Artsadmin bursary in 2003, she is a member of the collectives Live Art Collective East (LACE) and the Escalator collective ROAM. In the past two years, Cheryl Pierce has produced large and small scale projects for theatres, galleries, museums and site-specific locations nationally and internationally working with artists Curious, Anne Bean, Geraldine Pilgrim, Lucy Cash, Athina Vahla, Sinead O’Donnell and Live Art Collective East. The work spans indoor and outdoor work, visual art and performance and often involves public participation.
